From the Garden of Eden pool, climb, walk and swim up the Eden River to the walking trails that wind around the valley to a series of waterfalls and rock pools that are ideal for swimming. This secluded valley receives few visitors and is an ideal place for a picnic lunch, photography, exploring and enjoying the peace.

In the early evening, exit Deer Cave and follow the National Park Guide through Langs Cave before being left at the Bat Observatory to wait for the Bat Exodus around dusk.

At 17:30 return to Mulu Park HQ on a leisurely walk along the Rainforest Discovery Walk to the pick-up point for the join-in transfer to Mulu Marriot (Runs from Mulu NP HQ to Mulu Marriot from 18:00 – 21:00 hours).

This day tour requires Medium to high level of fitness and is accompanied by a mandatory Licensed Mulu National Park guide from the Park Headquarters to the Bat Observatory. To be escorted from the accommodation to accommodation a supplement is required for an additional Non-NP guide to be there as an escort.

High water levels may mean your time in the valley is reduced, and occasionally floods mean this tour is cancelled (and refunded) prior to departure.

This is a SIC program min 2pax max 8pax per day with an English Speaking National Park Guide.

Mulu – Wind & Clearwater Caves

After breakfast surrounded by the cacophony of the morning jungle sounds, take a 15-minute longboat ride up the Melanau River to experience two more of Mulu NP’s ‘must-see’ limestone caves: Wind Cave and Clearwater Cave. These form part of the Sarawak Chamber - the largest connected cave system in the world. If water levels are low, it’s also possible to get to the caves along a beautiful 4km hike. Explore the “King’s Room” before proceeding to Clearwater Cave. Walk on planked walkways that were built on the sides of limestone cliffs leading to Clearwater Cave. Then, climb up steep steps that were carved into the side of the hill to get to the entrance of Clearwater Cave. Inside the cave, check out the details of its various features and limestone formations.

At 13:30, return to Mulu NP HQ by boat and this afternoon take to the treetops on a canopy walkway. (Canopy Walkway timings: 7:00; 8:30; 10:00; 10:30; 13:00; 14:00 (note: 7am and 8:30am is not available on Friday)
