Once inside the old city walls, be captivated by the mix of eclectic markets, traditional houses, majestic foreign consulates, and modern edifices. Then continue away from town and take a winding, uphill drive to Doi Suthep Mountain. Climb up the staircase of Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, admiring the intricate naga carvings along the way.
