You will be picked up at either 08:00 or 13:00. Discover one of Thailand’s most intricate art forms on this floral design tour.
Start with a walk through Pak Klong Talad, one of the biggest fresh markets in the region. See the incredible variety of orchids and smell the sweet scents of different exotic flowers on sale. Hear about their origins and the customary use of each variety. Experience the hustle and bustle of this busy working market and get a glimpse of local life.
Then head to a secluded 100-year-old house, tucked away in a quiet residential neighbourhood. This elegant building is home to the Museum of Floral Culture, the brainchild of renowned florist Sakul Intakul. Take a guided tour through the galleries of floral art, learning about Thailand’s heritage and its rightful place within Asian culture. Afterwards, relax with a cup of tea and Thai desserts in the impeccably landscaped gardens. There are dozens of varieties of tea on offer, hailing from all over the world.
Continue to Dok Mai Pra Yuk, a flower workshop. Enjoy a hands-on course under the guidance of a local florist. Learn the fundamentals of floral arranging, incorporating elements of Thai flower design into the creation.
