Following this, enjoy a local lunch in an orchard, and be served a variety of dishes where coconut remains the main ingredient.
After lunch, walk through the garden to enjoy sights of Hin Lad Waterfall and a local temple. Next, proceed to the Agricultural Technology Transfer Center, the center that will teach you all about local agricultural practices of coconut cultivation such as growing methods and coconut species. See demonstrations of coconut crafts made by locals.
The day program ends at a small factory Samui Coco Processing, owned by a local family. The manual process of processing coconuts will be demonstrated at the store by Mr. Soontorn Ponoi-ngarm.
