Learn about the lives of elephants as well as conservation efforts underway to preserve the animals’ natural habitats. This tour includes all of our most wanted activities packed into a half-day trip. Learn how to be a Mahout and then get ready to get wet as you plunge into the Nam Khan river and give your personal elephant a refreshing bath.

This experience is extra special and luxurious with the exclusive Shangri Lao supplement package. If you enjoy the tastiest food, the best service and enjoy at the end of the tour a stunning infinity swimming pool to top it all off, overlooking the stunning Nam Khan river with mountain range views.
Arrival at the Shangri Lao Camp, welcome greeting by your guide and participate in a short briefing about elephants.
Elephant Feeding, get up close and personal with elephants.
Mahout Training, receive your basic mahout training on how to control an elephant just like a mahout and as a one-on-one experience for complete exclusivity.
Bathe Your Elephant, take your own elephant down to the Nam Khan river for an exhilarating and once in a lifetime bathing experience.
Continue the boat trip to the Falls, take a traditional Lao long boat to Tad Sae Waterfall where you can relax or swim in its cool natural pools. Lunch will then be served at Tree House Restaurant.
Depart, transfer back to your Hotel in Luang Prabang at 1:00 pm. (L)
