Whether you are a novice adventurer, a seasoned veteran or would just like to experience Cambodia, this tour is for you!
So, what is it will you be doing in this tour? Car rides through the countryside, boat excursions along scenic rivers, jungle expeditions and cycling amongst Cambodia’s temple ruins are all part of your itinerary in this program. So, lace up your outdoor shoes and pack your adventure gear, cuz the action starts right from day one!
Arrive in Cambodia in Battambang, a sleepy riverside town in Western Cambodia. This is one of the best places to see rural Cambodian life as well as the country’s natural beauty. You will get a chance to appreciate this beauty after climbing up Phnom Banan for a panoramic view. End your stay at this charming town with a cooking class.
So, you are already in Cambodia. Why not see the temples of Angkor then? No sweat! We’ll take you there on a memorable boat trip, to Siem Reap, your base for exploring the temples. The trip itself is pretty scenic, as the country’s evergreen flora and rustic countryside life surrounds you and passes you by. Check in to your hotel, grab your bike and start pedaling to the 8th century Rolous Group. Your stay in Siem Reap will also allow you to catch all of the highlights at Angkor Archealogical Park, such as Ta Phrom, Bayon, the jungle temple of Beng Melea and of course the irresistible Angkor Wat.
Next stop, Siem Reap, the capital. But not before exploring Sambor Prey Kuk, whichis on the way. Hop on your bike and wind through the temple’s dirt roads. The forest certainly adds mystique and mysteriousness to your ride. After exploring the temple, you will then make your way to the capital.
Explore the many wonders and attractions of Phnom Penh like a local, on a cyclo, the traditional pedal-powered rickshaw used throughout the city. After your tour of one of Southeast Asia’s emerging cities, head to one of Southeast Asia’s emerging beach destinations, Sihanoukville.
After basking in Cambodia’s beach scene, hop on a boat and explore Cambodia’s exotic wildlife at Ream National Park. Keep an eye out for some very intriguing animals such as monkeys, birds and lizards. Who knows, you may even come across the rare and elusive Irrawaddy Dolphin or the Pacific Humpback Dolphin. Then, walk along the beach to board a boat to secluded Koh Sam Pouch Island. Hear the hypnotic sounds of the waves and swim amongst it warm waters. Cambodian beachside bliss!
